Being a Square Dance Caller is what I love to do

I was born in Santa Monica California. I graduated from Venice High School, where I took drama, and starred in a couple musicals. This is where I realized that I love entertaining audiences. I have always loved dancing, thanks to older sister, who taught me how to dance at an early age.

I also run my own small business in the Los Angeles area. I have been in the Fire Protection Business since 1977.  My clients are primarily property managers who hire me to service their fire protection equipment. I am lucky to have had the same clients since I started, soon after graduating high school.

I joined my first beginners Square Dance Class in 1982 at the age of 25. I loved it so much, I was soon going to three classes a week! I was always "hamming " it up at class, so one day the Caller asked me if I would like to learn how to be a Square Dance Caller. Of course I didn't hesitate, I knew it was a good fit for me. I have loved every minute of it. I have met so many wonderful people through Square Dancing and have had tons of fun along the way.  I am grateful to all the clubs that book me year after year, and to all the clubs I teach for, and have taught for over these past years. I am looking forward to many more years, many more friends, and a whole lot more fun...

I teach square dancing and line dancing at private parties and events of all kinds from office parties, church parties, birthday parties and charity events. My teaching style makes it easy and fun to learn for people of all ages.
